CSW Membership

CSW members are drawn from the ranks of all constituency groups: faculty, appointed professionals, classified staff, graduate and undergraduate students, with faculty and staff being appointed by the president.

• Faculty and staff serve 3-year appointments
• Students serve 1-year renewable terms

Commissioners engage in professional development and leadership activities while contributing their individual talents and skills toward the achievement of important University goals. CSW is a volunteer organization and members must be able to commit a minimum of 4 to 8 hours per month to meeting their workgroup obligations, more time is required for workgroup chairs. A New Commissioner recruitment drive is held each spring.
